Refine your knowledge of design-build with these webinars on CCDC 14 and 15

The Canadian Construction Documents Committee helps you take the hassle out of contracts. CCDC’s upcoming webinars on design-build contracts will sharpen your know-how of project delivery methods and help you understand the roles and risk profiles of all parties involved.

March: An overview of design-build on CCDC 14

Learn how to effectively use CCDC 14, Design-Build Stipulated Price Contract, when you attend March’s CCDC Document Webinar. The 90-minute presentation will dissect the contract and the roles, responsibilities, and risks of each party involved. The webinar will review important sections and clauses, as well as highlight vital considerations to be made.

April: Become an expert on CCDC 15

CCDC 15 is a standard contract between the design-builder and consultant to perform the design services required under CCDC 14.

CCDC authors will explain the key philosophy behind the contract form. There will be a detailed analysis of the roles and risk profiles of the owner and design-builder, design-builder’s consultant, payment certifier, other consultants, and the owner’s advisor. Other key topics include the design-builder’s liability towards design service, professional liability insurance requirements, and more!
